OUR HISTORY

For some of us, the connection with the founders of Casa Vida began in 2004 during our first ever visit to Timor Leste (East Timor). We kept in touch, visited each other a number of times and trusted friendships developed. It was a great privilege to be able to play a small part in the establishment of “Casa Vida (House of Life)” in 2008.

As the Casa Vida project grew, so did the need for us to become more deliberate and structured in our involvement. We wanted to become more helpful and a stronger, united voice for the vital work of Casa Vida. Thus “Friends of Casa Vida Inc.” was born in April 2011.

OUR AIMS

–  to directly assist the work of Casa Vida as it protects and empowers children at risk of abuse – in Timor Leste, Indonesia and beyond,

–  to educate and tell others about the important work of Casa Vida and

–  to connect interested people with Casa Vida in Timor, Indonesia and beyond in order to encourage and empower each other.
